Welcome to daycare Nieuwendam, a warm and safe place at Het Breed 3 in Amsterdam-Noord where children aged 0 to 4 play, grow, and develop. We are part of TintelTuin, an organization that has been providing small-scale childcare with personal attention for many years. At Nieuwendam, we work with horizontal groups, meaning children are grouped by age. We only offer full-day care to ensure there are always enough qualified staff members present for a stable and safe environment. Our location has a capacity of 41 children and has been officially registered in the National Childcare Register since January 1, 2010. Preschool education (VE) is an important part of our program. We use recognized VE programs focused on language development, motor skills, social relationships, and creativity. This provides an excellent preparation for primary school. Our team of pedagogical staff guides the children with care and attention, allowing each child to develop at their own pace. We believe it's important for parents to feel welcome. That's why you can easily request a tour or register your child online. Due to waiting lists, we recommend applying for a place in time, preferably from 12 weeks of pregnancy. Daycare Nieuwendam is officially registered under LRK number 148731570. This allows you as a parent to apply for childcare allowance from the Tax Authorities.
