Nassau

BSO Nassau is located in the characteristic Dudok building of the Nassau School at Merelstraat 45 in Hilversum. We provide after-school care for up to 63 children aged 4 to 12. Our two bright, spacious group rooms are situated right in the Liebergen neighbourhood and open directly onto the school playground, allowing children to walk in safely and familiarly after school. We work closely with the Nassau School and collect the children from their classrooms every day. In addition, we provide care for pupils from nearby primary schools via our driver service. Children can choose from a wide range of activities: crafting in the creative corner, outdoor play in our own garden, sports and games in the school gym, or relaxing with a book in the quiet corner. When the weather is nice we use the playground and play equipment; in poorer weather we stay indoors and use the gym for movement. During the after-school hours we serve an extensive lunch with bread, fruit and a healthy snack. We take individual preferences and any allergies into account. Holiday and study days are filled with trips to playgrounds, museums and nature reserves in the region. Parents receive up-to-date information about the programme and photos of the day via our newsletters and the Bink app. Our team consists of experienced pedagogical staff who create a safe, challenging and enjoyable place every afternoon where children feel at home. We work according to the pedagogical vision of Bink childcare: room for individual choices, attention to talents and respect for one another. Together with parents we ensure that the children have a pleasant and meaningful time after school.
