Naschoolse opvang Dol-Blij

Welcome to After-School Care Dol-Blij, our cheerful BSO located at Van Hallstraat 6 in the heart of Wassenaar. We are part of Dol-Fijn Childcare, a trusted Wassenaar organisation that has been providing tailored childcare since 1 January 1999. Our Dol-Blij site is designed especially for children aged 4 to 12 and has room for up to 108 children. The location is wonderfully central, right opposite Dol-Fijn 0-4 years and within walking distance of primary schools and the green park on Parklaan. At Dol-Blij the primary-school child is the centre of attention. After a busy school day children can simply be themselves with us. We work with four fixed base groups, so every child has a familiar face and a comfortable spot. Our pedagogical staff are stable and committed; they guide the children with heart and soul and create a homely, safe atmosphere. The permanent teams know every child and can therefore respond perfectly to what that child needs that day. Our spacious indoor areas invite children to play, craft, build and relax. The nature discovery garden – with vegetables, herbs and flowers – lies right behind the building and is a favourite with the children. Here they learn about nature through play, harvest their own vegetables and herbs, and can romp around for hours. We also have a separate room where we offer optional music lessons, so children who prefer something else can play elsewhere without any problem. For the upper primary years we provide homework support, so parents are relieved at home and children can ask their questions straight away. During holidays and study days we organise interesting, special and super cool outings and activities – think treasure hunts in the woods, creative workshops or a visit to a petting farm. There is also always the option to enjoy a hot meal around 5 p.m., handy for parents who work a little later. In short, at After-School Care Dol-Blij children find rest, adventure and cosiness under one roof. We look forward to welcoming your son or daughter!
