Nannies CWZ

Welcome to Nannies CWZ, our daycare centre at Weg door Jonkerbos 88 in Nijmegen. Since November 2003 we have been offering childcare on this special site, right next to the Canisius Wilhelmina Hospital and surrounded by woodland, for up to 88 children aged 0–4. The building was purpose-built for us and houses five groups: three downstairs for children up to about 2.5 years and two toddler groups upstairs. Each group is a fixed home group, yet thanks to our pedagogical approach the children regularly meet—while playing outside in our own garden, for example—so every member of staff knows every child and a warm, cosy atmosphere is created. Our core values are Attention, Care and Love. What receives attention, grows; therefore we see, know and appreciate every child. We provide both full-day and half-day care, from one to ten half-days per week, with no minimum. Regular opening hours are 07:00–18:00; on request, care at this location can be extended to 19:00 without extra charge. We use an integrated form of horizontal and vertical group care: children of different ages share moments such as meals, but also play separately with peers. In this way we guarantee an optimal learning and living environment. At Nannies CWZ we value vaccination: 99 % of our children are vaccinated according to the National Immunisation Programme.
