Nabucco

Welcome to daycare centre Nabucco, located at Nabucco 2 in Krimpen aan den IJssel. We are part of KindeRdam and provide childcare for children aged 0 to 4 years. At Nabucco, your child’s natural development is our starting point. Inspired by the principles of educator Emmi Pikler, we create the right environment and conditions for children to flourish independently and at their own pace. We challenge children to develop motor, speech/language, social-emotional and cognitive skills. Our facility has four groups. The youngest children are cared for in the baby group Golden Flower (0-2 years). Toddlers join the Golden Dragonfly group (2-4 years). In addition, we operate two vertical groups, the Golden Hedgehog and the Golden Mole, where children aged 0 to 4 play and learn together. We use the Early Childhood Education (ECE) programme Uk & Puk and supplement it with the Books & Fun programme to stimulate language and reading enjoyment from an early age. Close cooperation with the nearby Kortland child centre further enriches our offer. Parental involvement is very important to us. We enjoy talking with you about your child’s development and keep you informed through daily contact moments. Nabucco is easily accessible by bus lines 97 and 98 (Traviata stop) and there is ample free parking nearby. Our opening hours are Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm, including school holidays.
