Mus&Mees

Welcome to daycare Mus & Mees, located in the Overvecht-Zuid district of Utrecht. Our daycare is part of Kind & Co Ludens and provides care for children aged 0 to 4 years. We are located at Winterboeidreef 111, within walking distance of toddler care Teun and various after-school care locations. The heart of our location is the large play hall, which literally forms an extension of the group rooms. Here, children from 1.5 years old can climb, clamber and discover. The play hall offers space for imagination and movement, and is used multiple times a day by all groups. Additionally, we have our own studio where children can express their creativity by crafting with natural and recycled materials. Everything is arranged at child height, allowing children to choose how they shape their creativity themselves. Our location has four group rooms, each with its own character and atmosphere. In the groups, care, feeding and quiet play are central. Each group has access to a green and challenging garden where we go on daily explorations. For movement on rainy days, we use our movement floor. We work with horizontal groups, where children come together in age groups. This allows us to work specifically on the development of each age group. Our pedagogical staff provide a safe and familiar environment where children can develop at their own pace. At Mus & Mees, we find it important to work with natural materials and environmentally friendly products. We use eco-friendly diapers and cleaning products and pay attention to sustainability and care for the environment.
