On 23 August 2007, Kinderopvang Muissie opened its doors at Hofkampstraat 104 in Almelo under the direction of drs C. de Jong. We provide childcare for children from 6 weeks to 12 years old, with our daycare centre focusing specifically on the youngest children from 0 to 4 years. Because the childcare is led by an educational psychologist, there is great attention to stimulating your child's development. Our toddler group is specially designed for children aged 2.5 to 4 years. Sixteen children can attend each morning. Every month we work around a current theme; through play, children learn about topics such as traffic, clothing, spring and summer. This thematic approach is part of our early childhood education programme (VVE), giving your child optimal preparation for primary school. At our location on Hofkampstraat, a maximum of 32 children can be cared for, divided into horizontal groups. This means that babies, toddlers and preschoolers are grouped by age, allowing us to fully tailor care and activities to your child's developmental stage. We offer both full and half-day care, so you can be flexible with your own schedule. At Kinderopvang Muissie, your child's development is central. Our team of pedagogical staff work daily on language stimulation, social skills and the general development of each child. We create a safe and familiar environment in which children can develop and have fun.
