Moppies & Muiters

Welcome to BSO Moppies & Muiters, located at Schoolstraat 44 in Almelo. We are part of Kinderopvang High Five!, an organization known for its warm, involved, and child-centered care. Our after-school care (BSO) is specially designed for children aged 4 to 13 and provides a safe and stimulating environment where children can develop and have fun after school. Our location has a capacity of 34 children, divided into two fixed base groups: 'De Donderjagers' with 24 places and 'De Deugnieten' with 10 places. This setup ensures a homely atmosphere where each child receives the attention they deserve. We believe in the power of small-scale and clarity, allowing children to quickly feel at home and for us to truly get to know them. At Moppies & Muiters, outdoor play is central. Our outdoor area is richly equipped with climbing and clambering opportunities, a sandbox, and we even have goats and plants that the children can care for. In the summer, there's plenty of water fun and sometimes we even light a small campfire. Additionally, we offer creative activities indoors in our cozy activity spaces, where children can craft, play games, or simply relax. Our pedagogical staff are ready with enthusiasm, involvement, and a big heart for the children. We treat each child as a unique individual and strive to create a second home. Flexibility is highly valued: when needed, we can provide extra care and we always maintain open communication with parents. We are open all year round, except for national holidays, so you can always count on us. In short, at BSO Moppies & Muiters, children find a place where they can be themselves, discover new things, and where they go with pleasure.
