Welcome to Montessori Kinderopvang Sonsbeek, located in a charming mansion in the center of Arnhem at Amsterdamseweg 100. Our beautiful building provides a homely environment where children feel safe and secure. Our location features a beautiful garden where children can climb and explore to their heart's content. We have a vegetable garden where children learn about vegetables and herbs, and they can care for our rabbits. This interaction with animals and nature is an important part of our Montessori approach. We work according to Maria Montessori's vision: "Help me do it myself". This philosophy is central to everything we do. We look at each child's needs and provide the right environment and materials to support their independent development. Children make their own choices and work at their own pace. Our after-school care (BSO) offers a continuous development line for children aged 4 to 12. We provide peace and structure after a busy school day, where children have space to relax, play and further develop. The homely atmosphere of our mansion contributes to a familiar environment where children feel at home. Our pedagogical staff are well-trained and embrace the Montessori vision. They create a safe and familiar environment daily in which every child can develop optimally.
