Montessori Kinderopvang Nieuwegein is located inside Montessorischool De Vleugel at Mozartplantsoen 1. Our after-school care welcomes up to 20 children aged 4–12 in a familiar, home-like setting rooted in the Montessori philosophy. Children are free to choose activities that match their interests and developmental stage, guided by trained staff who respect each child’s individuality. Every afternoon begins with a quiet moment and a healthy snack. Children can then join one of six rotating weekly themes: cooking & baking, sports & games, construction, science experiments, creative arts, and dance/drama. We use our spacious indoor area, green garden and the adjacent school playground with football cage. Short trips into the neighbourhood or by bus are organised regularly. Our stable team of Montessori-educated educators collects children after school from De Vleugel and nearby schools. We focus on personal attention, tailoring activities to each child’s needs and interests. The result is a safe, caring extension of home where children feel valued and inspired.
