Montessori Kinderopvang Helmond is located at Overloop 48 in Helmond-Brouwhuis, right next to Montessorischool Helmond. Thanks to this unique location, we work closely with the school to form an extension of your child’s most important living environment: home. We provide care for children from 3 months to 4 years in a homely, carefully prepared environment that is fully tailored to your child’s development. Our day-care centre has room for 32 children and is designed with a central kitchen table to closely resemble a family setting. The youngest children have their own separate house where they can sleep peacefully while the other children work at the table. The staff-to-child ratio is higher than usual, ensuring more guidance and placing the focus on each individual child. We follow the Montessori philosophy. The rooms are equipped with specific developmental materials designed by Maria Montessori or that meet her specific requirements. These materials are solid, made from natural materials and focus on one specific characteristic. In addition, our caregivers create their own materials that match the children’s various developmental activities. Children are free to choose which activity they want to do, allowing them to work independently and at their own pace. In our mixed-age groups, children learn from each other and also collaborate on joint activities. We aim to go outside with all the children every day. This can be in our own garden, but taking a walk is also an option. We also use the playground of Montessorischool. Our location is open every weekday from 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM.
