Welcome to Montessori kindcentrum ZieZo, located at ’t Zand 2 in the heart of Roosendaal. We are part of the OBO foundation and, together with Kober childcare, form an integral Montessori child centre where children aged 0 to 4 discover who they are and what they can do through play. Our motto is simple yet powerful: “Help me to do it myself”. From this conviction we offer a prepared environment in which your child is given the space to make choices, work independently and learn at his or her own pace. Our baby and toddler group focuses entirely on free movement development. In a calm, safe setting the very youngest can roll, crawl and eventually take their first steps without unnecessary interference. We use natural materials and keep the group small so that every child receives the attention they deserve. Fixed pedagogical staff with VE-Montessori training observe daily and tailor activities precisely to what your child needs. Nappies, bottle feeding and care products are brought from home; we provide a clean, warm and loving environment. For toddlers aged 2 to 4 we have set up horizontal groups: children of the same age sit together so that we can work specifically on language, motor skills and social development. We offer pre-school education (VE) in which we work thematically around topics such as family, seasons and emotions. Think of reading aloud, singing, dancing and crafts, but also exploring with sand, water and natural materials. Fruit, drinks and a healthy snack are included; hot meals come from home. Our spacious garden invites outdoor play and discovery in nature. We use the Konnect app. You receive photos, short reports and can digitally see how your child’s day went. We value parent involvement: we chat briefly at pick-up and drop-off, and schedule parent meetings at least twice a year.
