Montessori BSO de Boog 1 en 2

Montessori BSO de Boog 1 en 2 is located on the premises of Openbare Montessorischool De Boog at Johannis Bogaardstraat 16B in Nieuw-Vennep. We are an after-school care facility run by Floreer Opvang and welcome children aged 4 to 12 who attend De Boog. School and after-school care form one continuous pedagogical line: our staff already know the children from the classroom, meet with the teachers at least twice a year to align guidance for every child, and apply the same Montessori principles. The after-school groups are housed in the scouting building next to the school; one group uses the school’s auditorium. After school hours the children can freely use the playgrounds and the sports room, keeping the environment familiar and allowing seamless transitions between indoor and outdoor play. We work in vertical age groups where older children naturally support younger ones and younger children are inspired by the older ones, perfectly matching the Montessori philosophy. Opening hours on school days are 7:15 – 8:30 a.m. and 2:15 – 6:30 p.m. During school holidays and study days (except for the joint Floreer study day) we are open from 7:30 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. In holiday periods the Floreer after-school locations in Nieuw-Vennep often combine forces, enabling us to offer age-specific activities and ensure sufficient staffing. Parents receive all practical information through the Parro app and can schedule a yearly parent meeting with the after-school team.
