Welcome to Monkey Donky Speelhuis Oosterhamrikkade, our very first location housed in the characteristic former Noorderbad swimming complex at Oosterhamrikkade 66a in Groningen. For over 25 years, we have been providing childcare from this unique environment where elements of the former swimming pool have been preserved, creating a special place where children aged 0 to 4 can develop in a familiar and safe environment. Our daycare center is located on the ground floor and first floor of the building and consists of three horizontal groups: a baby group, toddler group, and preschool group. This structure allows us to provide tailored care and development that meets the specific needs of each developmental stage. Our pedagogical staff are familiar faces who build close relationships with your child, with love, respect, structure and safety at the core of everything we do. What makes our location special is the large indoor playground with ball pit, where our children are regularly allowed to play. Additionally, we have an enclosed courtyard where children can ride bikes, run and play in the sandbox. We also frequently use the playgrounds in the immediate vicinity of Oosterhamrikkade for nature and outdoor activities. For meals, we offer flexibility: you can choose between a bread meal or a warm meal freshly prepared daily by our cooks. All practical necessities such as diapers, formula, fruit snacks and care products are included in the price, so parents don't need to worry about bringing these items. For toddlers with an early childhood education indication, we offer toddler care using the Pyramid program. Every 6 to 8 weeks we start with a new theme that stimulates your child's development.
