Welcome to Monkey Donky Speelhuis De Hunze, our warm daycare center located at Beijumerweg 10 in Groningen. Since 2010, we have been providing a second home for children from 3 months to 4 years old. Our focus is on playing, discovering, and growing in a safe and familiar environment. Our De Hunze location is specially designed as a small-scale daycare center. We work with permanent staff who truly get to know your child. These familiar faces create peace and security for both children and parents. From this safe base, we encourage children to discover the world around them. Our pedagogical staff are ready with a smile and say: "Just try it, I'll catch you!" We use a horizontal group structure, where babies, toddlers, and preschoolers play and develop in separate age groups. Each group is tailored to the developmental stage of the children. The spaces are bright, fresh, and safely furnished. There are separate sleeping rooms where children can sleep peacefully in their own bed with familiar scents and sounds. Everything your child needs is included with us. Diapers, wipes, formula, fruit snacks, bread meals, and snacks are all available. We also provide practical items like diaper cream, sleeping bags, and swaddles. We take allergies and special dietary needs into account. For a smooth transition, it's nice if your child brings a familiar cuddly toy or pacifier from home. Our outdoor space offers plenty of opportunities to play and move. We have a secure garden with play equipment where children can climb, slide, and romp. In good weather, we spend lots of time outside. Inside, there's a large play area with different corners for play and development. Flexibility is very important to us. We offer both regular care and flexible day parts.
