Ministek

Welcome to daycare Ministek, located in the Veenzijde neighborhood in Wilnis on the border with Mijdrecht. We are a homely location where children aged 0 to 4 feel completely at home. As soon as you enter our spaces, you feel the warm atmosphere. The play areas invite children to choose for themselves what they want to do: read a book, play with cars or make a puzzle. We offer different groups: two baby groups for the little ones aged 0-2, one toddler group for children aged 2-4 and two vertical groups where children aged 0-4 play and learn together. Each group has its own character, but the same pedagogical heart is central everywhere. Our activities are specially developed to stimulate the development of young children. We regularly organize activities in our craft studio where children can be creative with different materials. In our large play hall, children can dance and move. Once a month we have toddler gym: a sports activity where children balance, climb and jump together with two sports colleagues from the sports after-school care. Outside we have a large discovery garden, a natural and challenging outdoor play area where children can play in the boat, dig in the sandbox, climb on the play equipment and cycle on the path. The garden is designed to challenge children and let them discover through play. We believe it's important that children get enough exercise and have the space to develop their motor skills. We work according to the Pedagogical Heart of Kind&co ludens. This means we give children the space to be themselves and discover who they are. We offer a rich environment where playing equals discovering and learning. Our pedagogical staff are ready to guide and support the children where necessary, but also give them the freedom to explore on their own. Pre-school education (VE) is an important part of our program. We prepare children for primary school through play by working thematically and offering targeted activities that match their developmental level.
