Welcome to Partou Millinxparkhuis, our small-scale daycare centre located at Millinxstraat 69 in Rotterdam Charlois. Housed in a brand-new community centre that we share with the after-school care, everyone knows each other, creating a warm and familiar atmosphere. Children from 0 to 4 years old find a second home here. The cheerfully decorated rooms feature cosy play corners: a quiet nook for the very youngest and an adventurous area for toddlers and pre-schoolers. In the craft corner we model with clay, in the shop we buy ice-cream, and in the construction corner the most beautiful castles rise. We work in horizontal groups so that every age receives the attention it needs. Our large play and discovery garden is a paradise for curious children. Babies safely explore their own snug garden, while older children ride along the cycle track or muck about with sand and mud. We go outside every day because outdoor play supports healthy development. ‘Who gets to the slide first!’ is a phrase we hear often. Learning through play is at the heart of what we do. We provide pre-school education (VE) so that your child is well prepared for primary school – from spreading a sandwich and putting on coat and shoes to making friends. Every milestone, from first steps to first words, can be followed in our own Partou app. Fresh, healthy meals are served daily, tailored to young children. For the very youngest we provide bottle feeding and a quiet sleeping area.
