Welcome to Kinderdagverblijf De Wigwam, a homely branch of MIK & Spelenderwijs located at Borrekuilstraat 1 in Geleen. We warmly welcome children from 6 weeks up to 4 years to play, learn and experience new adventures every single day. Thanks to our central position along the Geleen-Stein ring road and right next to Geleen-Lutterade train station, we are very easy to reach. At De Wigwam we pay close attention to what your child needs. Our youngest guests stay in a calm, small-scale baby group where routine, personal attention and a sense of security are key. We have created a cosy baby sensory room and a safe baby garden so your infant can explore the world in complete tranquillity. The toddler groups are organised horizontally: two groups for children aged 0–2.5 years and two groups for children aged 2–4 years. This allows us to tailor activities and materials precisely to each child’s developmental stage. Our permanent pedagogical staff ensure every child feels safe and at home. We follow each child’s individual rhythm and needs and also offer the Early Childhood Education programme (VVE). Playing, singing, romping outside or simply taking a nap – anything is possible, as long as it suits your child. Together with parents and carers we make De Wigwam a place children love to come to and where parents can leave their child with complete peace of mind.
