Welcome to KDV De Kleine Helden, located at Broeksittarderweg 119 in the quiet Vrangendael district of Sittard. As part of MIK & Spelenderwijs, we provide a homely and safe environment for babies and toddlers aged 0 to 4 years. Our location offers up to 72 childcare places and is officially certified for Early Childhood Education (VVE). Our team consists of qualified baby specialists who ensure professional care and personal attention for every child. At De Kleine Helden, we believe in learning through play. We offer a rich and challenging play and learning program that connects with the world of young children. Our baby group is an oasis of peace, while the toddler groups provide plenty of space for discovery, building, crafting and playing. We use the Logo 3000 methodology to stimulate children's language development in a playful way. Additionally, we offer SuperFIT, a program that supports toddlers' motor development. Our building is spacious, bright and homely furnished. In the heart of the location is a central play hall where children from different groups can meet. These encounters promote social and emotional development. Outside, we have two safe gardens with play equipment and a cycling track. Each group has direct access to its own garden, providing daily outdoor play opportunities. We believe it's important that children feel safe and secure. Therefore, we work with fixed pedagogical staff who build a warm relationship with your child. We offer flexible childcare options, including half-days, and tailor our care and activities to each child's individual needs. We also take allergies and dietary requirements into account.
