Michelles Daycare is located on the ground floor of a characteristic 1930s building at Ruys de Beerenbroucklaan 47 in Heerlen. We provide small-scale childcare in a homely atmosphere where children can relax and be completely themselves. Our two playrooms, large kitchen and two bedrooms are carefully designed to meet the needs of the very youngest. The adjacent garden – with soft surfacing and safe play equipment – is entirely geared to the young children in our daycare. We work with two vertical core groups: one group for children up to 2 years (maximum 6 children per day) and one group for children from 2 years (maximum 15 children per day). Only permanent, dedicated carers are part of our team, ensuring that every child receives the personal attention they deserve. Because of our small scale, smooth and personal contact with parents arises; during drop-off and pick-up moments there is always room for a quick update or to discuss any special needs. Outdoor play is just as important to us as indoor activities. We not only use our own garden, but also regularly venture to the Aambos, the Bekkerveld and the local playground. The varied natural areas offer new discoveries and challenges every time, perfectly suited to the curiosity of young children. Flexibility is one of our strengths: swapping days is free of charge, provided the schedule allows. This keeps us close to what parents and children need. Michelles Daycare is open 52 weeks a year from 07:00 to 18:30, excluding official public holidays. On Saturdays and shopping Sundays we also offer care to regular clients by arrangement.
