MFA Franeker

MFA Franeker Daycare is located in the multifunctional centre of Franeker and is part of Stichting Kinderopvang Friesland. We provide day care for up to 80 children aged 0 to 4 years, divided into five horizontal core groups. Each group has its own room with direct access to a secure outdoor area; there is also a central play hall for shared use. Our qualified pedagogical staff follow the baby and toddler pedagogical plan and deliver pre-school education (VE) in every group. For the youngest children we use the Uk&Puk programme, which stimulates language, motor and social skills through play. The toddler groups work with the Pyramid method, focused on language development and school readiness. We follow fixed daily routines, provide quiet sleeping areas and take care of bottle feeding and nappy changes according to parents’ wishes. Outdoor play and movement are a fixed part of the day, allowing children to explore and grow in a familiar environment. MFA Franeker Daycare is open Monday to Friday from 07:15 to 18:15. Parents can choose half-day or full-day care. We value stability and continuity: your child belongs to one fixed core group with familiar faces. All staff hold the required professional qualifications and VE certificates. Together we create a safe, warm place where your child can be themselves and discover the world step by step.
