Merlijn

BSO Merlijn is part of childcare organisation SKAR and is located in the multifunctional centre De Malburcht at Graslaan 97 in Arnhem-Malburgen. We provide before-school care and after-school care for children aged 4 to 12 who attend the Margarethaschool, the Klaaschool or De Vlinderboom in the neighbourhood. Our space is divided into two age groups: one for children aged 4 to 7 and one for children aged 7 and older. This allows us to tailor activities and play materials exactly to what the children enjoy and find challenging. After school there is plenty of time to play with peers, do homework or take part in sports and creative activities. Outdoor play is in our DNA. Every day we spend as much time as possible in the fresh air: running, climbing, building, exploring. There is no such thing as bad weather; with the right clothing the children enjoy wind, sand and nature. We also take part in joint activities within the child centre, such as the annual sports week. In short: at BSO Merlijn children have all the space they need to develop safely and with challenge, to play outside and to have fun with friends after school.
