Merlijn

Welcome to daycare Merlijn located at Graslaan 97 in Arnhem. As part of SKAR we offer childcare for up to 72 children aged 0 to 4 at this location. Our spacious, bright group rooms are tailored to the age and development of your child: separate baby groups for the very youngest, toddler groups for crawlers and toddlers, and one mixed-age group where ages are combined. This way every child receives the rest, stimulation and challenge that suits him or her. We follow a clear daily rhythm that feels predictable and safe. In the morning we sing together, read aloud and set aside time for language and numeracy activities linked to the VVE programme ‘Puk’. In between there is plenty of room for free play: building with blocks, crafting, hiding in the reading corner or playing in the sandpit. Our large garden invites children to run, climb and explore; when the weather is nice we eat outside and organise games and movement activities. For the very youngest we provide bottle feeding, freshly prepared snacks and hot meals. Nappies, wipes and care products are included so you can drop off and pick up without worry. We take food allergies and dietary requirements into account. Each child has their own cot in a quiet bedroom; during the day babies sleep separately and toddlers in a separate room so they can rest undisturbed. Our team consists of qualified pedagogical staff who truly see every child. We work on a small scale and personal level: you receive a short report every day and we are always open to your questions.
