Welcome to BSO Merlijn, part of childcare organization Krullevaartje in Almere. We provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 12 years at our location on Carel Willinklaan 107. Our childcare is built on an anthroposophical view of the human being, where the unique and individual qualities of each child are central. BSO Merlijn works with two age groups: children aged 4 to 8 years and children aged 8 to 12 years. With the younger group, we make extensive use of toys, read stories together, do crafts, and learn to deal with winning and losing through board games. Children who are interested in handicrafts receive guidance from our staff. For the older children, we offer activities that stimulate their artistic and creative abilities. We devote ample attention to questions that are relevant to this age group, and there is plenty of opportunity to 'chill'. All activities take place in a safe and pleasant atmosphere, with attention to connecting and non-violent communication with the children. Our location on Carel Willinklaan offers a warm and homely environment where children can feel at home. We believe it is important to maintain a good connection with parents and caregivers, so that we can work together on your child's development.
