Meneer Sjaak

Meneer Sjaak is a small-scale after-school care facility (BSO) located at Valkenpad 1 in Leiden, on the grounds of Brede School Merenwijk. We provide care for a maximum of 11 children aged 4 to 12 years. Our BSO focuses on connection, nature experience and creativity. We give children the space to be themselves, discover their own talents and work together. Free play, reading and creative activities are central to our approach. Due to our small scale, we know each child well and can truly respond to what the child needs. We make extensive use of the natural play environment around the school and encourage children to be outside and discover the world around them.
