Martijntje

Welcome to Martijntje, our daycare centre located at De Doom 11 in the heart of Heerlen. We are part of Peuteropvang Heerlen, an organisation with over 20 locations throughout Heerlen and Hoensbroek. At Martijntje, we provide care for up to 16 toddlers aged 2 to 4 years. Our location has been officially registered in the National Childcare Register since 9 September 2021. We believe that play and learning are inextricably linked. Through play, children discover new words, learn to count, practice sharing and following instructions. Our professional pedagogical staff guide the children in a playful and relaxed manner. We offer pre-school education (VE), optimally preparing toddlers for their future at primary school. Our opening hours are flexible: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 8:30 to 11:30 AM, and Wednesday from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM. Half days are always possible. We consider reading very important and have even developed our own book series featuring the adventures of Pim and Poes, which we use to stimulate children's language development.
