Marlynemolen

Since February 2023, Marlynemolen has been located inside the primary school OBS de Draaimolen, right in the Molenvliet district of Barendrecht. We provide a warm, safe place for up to 16 children in our toddler group, guided by two dedicated pedagogical staff members. The group is set up for children aged 2–4 and follows a horizontal structure, allowing children to play, explore and develop alongside peers of the same age in a calm, well-organised environment. We offer pre-school education (VE), preparing children for primary school through play. All activities are tailored to toddlers’ experiences and stimulate language development, social skills and independence. We work closely with OBS de Draaimolen, ensuring a smooth transition to primary school. In addition to the toddler group, the same location houses an after-school care group for older children, creating a familiar continuum of care within one setting. Our rooms are spacious, bright and colourfully arranged, offering ample space for both quiet and active play. The toddler group has dedicated corners for role-play, crafts, reading and construction. Children also have access to school facilities such as the gym and outdoor playground.
