MAM's Kinderopvang

Welcome to MAM’s Kinderopvang at Jachtlaan 191 in Apeldoorn. Our day-care centre is located in a striking, historic building – the former police station – that radiates exactly what we value: atmosphere, calm and security. As soon as you step inside you will notice our homely living-room areas: tidy, well-organised and warmly furnished, just the way children and parents like it. We provide care for children from 3 months to 4 years in horizontal age groups. This means your baby (0-1), toddler (1-2), pre-schooler (2-3) or pre-school-plus child (3-4) is always with peers, guided by the same MAM’s Specialists who really know your child. This small-scale approach guarantees continuity, recognition and a secure feeling. Our large, green garden invites free play and discovery. We respect each child’s own play choices and closely observe what fascinates them. Independence is key: from the very first attempts at spreading bread to putting on a coat by themselves – we encourage self-reliance from the youngest age. For the very youngest we have separate baby and toddler groups where rest, regularity and loving attention come first. We follow a fixed daily rhythm in which sleeping, eating and playing take place at set times in familiar rooms. At the end of the day parents receive a MAM’s-Mapje with a short report so you know exactly how the day went. Pre-schoolers already take part in more structured activities in the pre-school group. They practise ‘little jobs’, learn to drink from a cup and are given increasing space to try out their own ideas. We tailor activities to what your child enjoys and wants to develop further. Through our partnership with St. Victor primary school we also ensure a smooth transition to elementary education.
