MAM's Kinderopvang De Diamant

MAM’s Kinderopvang De Diamant is located on the ground floor of primary school De Diamant at Laan van de Leeuw 299 in Apeldoorn. We provide after-school care (BSO) for up to 50 children aged 4 to 12. Because the BSO is situated inside the school building, the transition from school to after-school care is seamless. Our qualified pedagogical staff – we call them MAM’s Specialists – are ready to offer children a safe, homely and stimulating environment after school hours. We work closely with the teaching teams of De Diamant het Rooster and De Diamant Beemte. This partnership guarantees short communication lines and a warm hand-over between school and care. Our Specialists know the children well and tailor activities to their needs each day: some quiet time to unwind, playing games, crafting or romping around in the school garden. Small-scale groups and a living-room atmosphere are central to our approach. The rooms are equipped with challenging toys and creative materials that invite children to explore the world both independently and together. We believe every child should feel seen and valued. Therefore, we encourage personal initiative and guide children in developing social skills. During holidays and teacher training days we remain open and organise extra activities such as scavenger hunts, sports and game days or creative workshops. Everything is planned in close consultation with parents, because together we make sure every child goes home with a smile.
