Rosa

BSO Rosa is located in the Rosa Community Centre at Malakkastraat 6 in Utrecht-West. We are part of Kind & Co Ludens and provide after-school care for older children who have (partly) finished primary school. Children from about 8 years old up to grade 8 are welcome at our safe, familiar place after school. Our location makes use of the spacious, bright halls of the community centre and has access to an inner courtyard where we can play and move around. We work according to the Pedagogical Heart of Kind & Co Ludens: children are allowed to be themselves, are given space to discover and learn to play together in a mini-society in which we care for each other. Activities are tailored to the children's interests and can range from crafts, cooking and sports & games to making music or carrying out small projects. We connect with the themes that play a role at school and in the neighbourhood and actively involve the children in thinking up and organising activities. There is also plenty of room for relaxation and free play. BSO Rosa works together with primary schools in the area to ensure a smooth transition from school to after-school care. Parents can make use of our flexible childcare options, allowing them to choose the days and times that best suit their family situation.
