LPS kinderopvang Jongleren - Kooiduin (bso)

Welcome to BSO Kooiduin, our after-school care centre at Kooiweg 30 in Hoogerheide. We are part of LPS Kinderopvang Jongleren and provide care for up to 78 children in school years 3–8. Our building sits right next to the Kooiduin woods, so nature is our biggest playground every single day. Our pedagogical approach centres on ‘talent-oriented and adventurous learning’. We invite every child to discover and further develop their own talents. We do this by offering challenging activities such as our weekly ‘Forest Adventure’, during which children head into the woods together with our pedagogical staff to build, explore and play. In addition, we organise sports and games afternoons, arts and crafts, drama, cooking and technology sessions. During school holidays we work around a theme and join in on fun excursions in the region. We collect the children from primary schools in Hoogerheide and the surrounding area with our own 8-seat minibus. On arrival a healthy snack and drink are always waiting. Children who wish can sit down to a warm meal for a small extra fee. We take allergies and dietary requirements into account and follow the ‘I eat healthy and safe’ policy. Our spacious garden with natural play equipment invites climbing, scrambling and romping, while indoors different corners are set up for rest, play and creative outbursts. In short, at BSO Kooiduin we offer children a familiar place where they can relax after school, make friends and grow to the full in a rich, adventurous environment.
