LPS kinderopvang Het Kompas (peuteropvang)

At Het Kompas in Bergen op Zoom we provide toddler care for children aged 2 to 4 years. We believe it's important that children come to our care with joy and feel at home and comfortable. That's why we work in small groups, allowing us to give each child plenty of personal attention. Our Toddler Care is a nice, safe place where toddlers play together in the home corner, express themselves in the construction corner, color in the art corner, look at books in the reading corner, make music and enjoy outdoor play. Our pedagogical staff follow and stimulate the children's development step by step and let them get acquainted with primary school. We organize activities together with the kindergarten children and they may come practice in the kindergarten class for 5 days or 10 half-days before their fourth birthday. We work with themes that connect to the children's world of experience. By linking everything to a theme, they learn for example to count more easily or learn new words, but also to play together and share with each other. Because the teachers in kindergarten work in the same way, children feel at home quickly and develop smoothly. At Het Kompas we let childcare and education connect as well as possible. We do this by closely following the children's development and working closely with the primary school teachers. We offer pre-school education (VE) to stimulate the broad development of toddlers.
