LPS kinderopvang De Biezenhof (peuteropvang)

Peuteropvang De Biezenhof is located at Rode Schouw 85 in Halsteren and is part of the Lowys Porquinstichting (LPS). We provide toddler care for children aged 2 to 4 in a homely, safe environment tailored to young children’s world of experience. Play-based learning is at the heart of our approach. We use the VVE programme Startblokken and thematic corners such as a reading corner, craft corner, home corner and sand table. These corners change with each theme, ensuring there is always something new to discover. We support language development through children’s gestures, helping toddlers express themselves and reducing frustration. Our pedagogical staff provide clear structure and warm guidance. We value personal contact with parents and take time for discussion at drop-off and pick-up. Transition to primary school is smooth thanks to our collaboration with De Biezenhof primary school: older pupils come to read and play with the toddlers in the playground. We use natural materials and bring the outside world inside. On our toddler playground and in Halsteren’s Groene Hart, children can explore and play. We offer care in three-hour blocks, 40 school weeks per year.
