LPS childcare Anton van Duinkerken (toddler care & daycare) is located at Smitsstraat 29 in the Gageldonk-Oost district of Bergen op Zoom. We are part of the LPS Childcare Foundation, which belongs to the Lowys Porquin Foundation. In our bright, spacious building we provide daycare for up to 48 children aged 0 to 4. Our pedagogical staff work from four pillars: Learning who you are, We do it together, Room to grow and Healthy & happy. We offer a familiar yet challenging environment where children playfully discover who they are. Through fun activities such as arts & crafts, reading aloud and outdoor play we stimulate language and motor development. We have our own outdoor playground and also use the play areas of the adjacent Anton van Duinkerken primary school. For the youngest we provide bottle feeding, fresh fruit and healthy snacks. Diapers and wipes are included; for special dietary needs such as lactose- or gluten-free we can provide customised care. Each group has a quiet sleeping room with cribs and beds. We work with horizontal groups so activities are perfectly tailored to your child's age and developmental stage. Because our childcare and the primary school are located on the same site, there is a smooth continuous line from 0 to 12 years. Our pedagogical staff regularly consult with the kindergarten teachers and can thus optimally guide the transition from toddler care to school. Together with parents and school we ensure that every child feels safe, seen and challenged.
