LOHC De Sportanen

Welcome to LOHC De Sportanen, our brand-new Sport BSO located at the beautiful LOHC sports facility on Hofbrouckerlaan 51 in Oegstgeest. Nestled among expansive hockey fields, we offer children aged 4 to 12 a unique place where sport, play and personal development come together. At De Sportanen we believe that movement is the key to healthy and happy development. Our pedagogical staff and sports coaches don't stand on the sidelines but actively participate with the children. We use sport and play as tools to teach children about perseverance, teamwork and the joy of success. Every day the children are active outdoors, while we playfully work on their social, motor, cognitive and personal development. Our opening hours are flexibly aligned with school times: Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 2:00 PM to 6:45 PM, and Wednesday and Friday from 12:00 PM to 6:45 PM. We pick up children from Hofdijckschool and Gevers Deutz Terwee, so parents can use our care services worry-free. In addition to our regular sports activities, we offer special extras such as the Sports Children's Cooking Café on Wednesday afternoons, sports clinics by experienced professionals and exciting outings to places like Avifauna, the Johan Cruijff Arena and Archeon. For those who want to combine activities, BSO swimming lessons are even possible on Wednesdays and Fridays. During school holidays we organize our popular Storyline Sports Camps, where children experience an unforgettable sports week. At LOHC De Sportanen we create a familiar, small-scale environment where every child feels seen and heard. Our dedicated supervisors have an eye for each child and ensure a warm, safe atmosphere. We work from a pedagogically sound basis where we try out new exercises, game forms and ideas every week. No two days are the same at De Sportanen!
