Kindercentrum Mamma Olifant is located at Zuiderzeelaan 3 in Eindhoven-North and, together with primary school De Schelp, forms the SPIL-centrum Zuiderzeelaan. Within our centre we provide after-school care (BSO) for children aged 4 to 13. We pick up children from nearby schools and make sure they have a safe, challenging and welcoming place to play and relax after school. We play all day long. That is why our colourful BSO rooms feature a variety of corners that we change regularly. There is a cosy reading corner to unwind with a book, a creative arts & crafts corner where the most beautiful creations come to life, a construction corner for cool structures and a chill-out zone to recharge. We love playing outside: in our own outdoor space or on the large schoolyard, where we can run, climb and enjoy sports and games. Every child will always find something fun to do. Our pedagogical staff are ready every afternoon with a smile and a listening ear. They organise a range of activities, from creative workshops to sports and games and small excursions in the neighbourhood. We believe it is important that children can develop freely and choose what they feel like doing. At the same time, we offer calm and structure so that every child feels safe. When parents come to collect their children, they always receive a personal hand-over about how the afternoon went, so the trust continues at home.
