Welcome to daycare 2Olifanten located at Loevesteinlaan 11 in the Morgenstond district of The Hague. Our small-scale daycare center is specially designed for children aged 0 to 4 years. In June 2024, we completely renovated and redecorated all indoor and outdoor spaces, ensuring your child can play and grow in a fresh, modern environment. At 2Olifanten, we work with two groups: a vertical group for children aged 0-4 years and a toddler group for children aged 2-4 years. In the vertical group, we stimulate language and motor skill development in a playful manner. The toddler group prepares children for primary school through challenging 3+ activities. We offer Preschool Education (VE), with extra attention to language development and school readiness. Our pedagogical staff work thematically. For several weeks, a specific theme takes center stage. We read books, sing songs, play games and do craft activities related to the theme. Our group spaces are also adapted accordingly. Children are welcome to bring books or toys from home that fit the theme. We go outside every day! Our large outdoor playground offers plenty of fun. Children can ride bikes, play in the sandbox and, in nice weather, play with water. For the littlest ones, we have a separate enclosed play area. We provide warm meals and work with the Parent app where you can always find our contact details.
