Day-care centre 2Vliegers is located at Duyvenvoordestraat 80 in the centre of Monster, Westland. We share our premises with the First Westland Montessori School and are part of the 2Samen Child-care Foundation. At this location we exclusively offer day-care (KDV) for children from 0 to 4 years old. Our small-scale centre has 43 places spread across spacious, bright rooms that are fully equipped according to the Montessori vision. This vision is the foundation of our daily practice: we believe every child is naturally eager to learn and curious. Therefore, we provide a rich, challenging environment where children can discover and learn on their own. From 0 to 3 years, children absorb countless impressions unconsciously; we ensure a calm, safe setting with carefully chosen materials. From 3 to 4 years – the toddler phase – children become more aware and active; we give them all the space they need to make their own discoveries and develop their talents. Outdoors we have our own green play area. In addition, we regularly make trips to the playgrounds, petting zoo and library in Monster, so that the children can explore the world around them. Our permanent, committed pedagogical staff closely follow each child’s development and tailor activities and materials to what the child needs at that moment. We work in horizontal groups, so children of the same age play and learn together. Parents stay in touch through our Parent App, which shares photos, reports and the daily schedule.
