LeV locatie Het Baken

Welcome to LeV location Het Baken, our after-school care centre at De Reede 71 in Veenendaal. Since 2017 we have provided trusted out-of-school care for up to 45 children aged 4 to 12. Our bright, spacious BSO room is within walking distance of several primary schools, so children can come to us safely and happily after school. We work from a Christian identity in which trust, development and cooperation are central. Our pedagogical staff create a homely atmosphere in which every child feels welcome. We offer calm and structure, but also room for personal initiative. Through play, children learn to interact with others and with themselves, while they can relax and recharge after a busy school day. The activities match the children's world of experience: crafts, outdoor play, board games and creative projects. We make use of our own garden and the immediate surroundings. When the weather is nice we love to go outside; when the weather is bad our indoor space offers plenty of opportunities to play and discover. Parents experience our care as involved and transparent. We communicate openly about the day and actively involve parents in the development of their child. Together we create a solid foundation on which every child can grow.
