Les Petits Vrijburglaan (Vrijbuiters)

Welcome to POV de Vrijbuiters, our toddler care facility in Overveen! We are centrally located between the Julianaschool and Koningin Wilhelmmina school. Our location features a lovely outdoor playground and borders a large playing field where children can enjoy themselves. We provide care for up to 16 children aged 2 to 4 years. Two pedagogical staff members work daily, giving your child all the attention they need. Each child has their own mentor who serves as the primary contact point for parents. The group is set up to allow free play, while also providing space for individual guidance at our colorful tables. We believe in preparing children well for primary school. Therefore, we focus on language development, social-emotional development, motor and sensory development, and early math skills. We maintain close contact with the internal supervisors of both primary schools to ensure a smooth transition. Music and dance are important elements of our program. Regularly, someone from the world music school visits to teach children language through music. We also offer toddler dance lessons provided by our regular dance instructor. We use the parent portal Konnect, where we share daily photos and can exchange messages. This way, parents can still get a glimpse of their child's day.
