Les Petits Voorwegschool

Welcome to BSO Voorwegschool, our cheerful after-school care located right inside the Voorwegschool in Heemstede. We occupy a bright, spacious area that has been completely set up for children aged 4 to 12. Our location is made up of two groups: the Polar Bears and the Seals. Together we can welcome up to 40 children, and every day four enthusiastic pedagogical staff members are ready to greet them—people who visibly love their work and build warm relationships with every child. We believe children should have a say in how they spend their afternoon. That’s why we ask each day, “What do you feel like doing?” We tailor our activities to their answers and provide a stimulating environment with high-quality play materials. On Wednesdays and Fridays, when fewer children attend, we join forces with our BSO on Cruquiusweg, located on the grounds of football club HBC. There is plenty of outdoor space to run, play football, or simply enjoy the fresh air. During school holidays the children come to us for the whole day. We put together a varied holiday programme packed with fun activities and excursions—think a trip to Groenendaal wood, an afternoon at the beach, or creative workshops. Parents receive the schedule in advance so they know exactly what is planned. At the end of a long school day, children can sit down to a warm, nutritious meal. We partner with Moekes Maaltijd, who deliver 100 % natural, freshly prepared dishes made with seasonal produce. Your child goes home with a full stomach and a happy heart.
