Welcome to Le Petit childcare at da Costastraat 46 in Zoetermeer. We are a small-scale daycare centre where babies and toddlers aged 0 to 4 can develop at their own pace in a homely atmosphere. By deliberately keeping our groups small, every child receives the personal attention they deserve; with us your child is not a number, but a unique individual with their own character and wishes. Our pedagogical staff work from a green vision: we serve daily healthy, organic snacks, spend lots of time outdoors and have our own vegetable garden where children discover how fruit and vegetables grow. Seeing, hearing, feeling, smelling and tasting are central to our daily programme. We sing and read aloud every day to stimulate language development and offer playful English from babyhood onwards. Our team is specially trained to introduce the sounds of a second language in a playful way. Art and creativity are given plenty of space: we paint, draw, make music and sing together. We also practise children’s yoga to let children experience relaxation and body awareness in a playful manner. Everything takes place in one vertical group, where children of different ages play together and learn from each other. The familiar faces and the loving, secure environment give your child the confidence to take new steps. Parents stay fully involved through our app: you receive photos, read the digital diary and immediately see how your child has eaten and slept. This way, wherever you are, you stay close to your child.
