Larimar

Peuteropvang Larimar is located inside primary school De Bavokring in the green, family-friendly Kralingen district. We provide care for up to 16 toddlers aged 2–4 in a calm, well-organised group. Our aim is to prepare children for primary school through play. We therefore follow an official Early Childhood Education programme that stimulates language, numeracy and social skills in a playful way. The space is arranged into corners such as a construction area, reading corner and role-play corner, allowing every child to explore his or her interests. We work closely with the teachers of De Bavokring, so the children become familiar with the school setting and the transition to the kindergarten classes is smooth. Our qualified staff offer personal attention and a warm, safe environment in which every child can develop at his or her own pace.
