Welcome to Norlandia childcare Laan van Meerdervoort, located at Laan van Meerdervoort 470 in the heart of The Hague. We are a daycare centre (KDV) for children aged 0 to 4 years and offer 46 childcare places. Our homely building is situated in a quiet, child-friendly neighbourhood and has its own outdoor playground where children are given space every day to discover, play and grow. With us, everything revolves around self-discovery. Children are given every opportunity to explore the world at their own pace. In our construction corner and home corner they let their imagination run wild, while the reading corner offers a quiet place to take a moment for yourself. In the studio they discover their creativity during inspiring craft activities. We believe that children learn best by doing: from spreading their own sandwich to making their own choices in activities. Outside is just as important to us as inside. We call every day an outdoor day! From scooping sand to playing with leaves and twigs – nature is our biggest toy. When there is a little rain or wind, we simply put on our boots and go out. We have four groups: the Baby Elves and Rose Elves for children from 0 to 2 years, and the Star Elves and Flower Elves for children from 2 to 4 years. Each group has permanent pedagogical staff who are trained as baby specialists and offer each child a personal mentor. Our staff are ready with warmth, love and expert care. They closely follow each child's development and invite parents annually for an extensive parent meeting. We operate 52 weeks a year and charge an hourly rate starting from €11.61.
