Stichting 'La Creche'

Stichting ‘La Creche’ is the smallest and most charming crèche in Amsterdam, located in the heart of the city at Koningsstraat 24. We provide care for up to twelve children aged 0 to 4 years in a warm, homely and safe environment. Our daycare centre consists of two cosy rooms, a spacious sleeping area and a large indoor garden where children can play, laugh, run, dig, climb and slide. The garden offers plenty of space for natural exploration and outdoor play, contributing to a rich and stimulating environment for young children. We focus on small-scale care and personal attention. Three dedicated childcare professionals ensure a familiar and stable atmosphere. We work with vertical groups, where children of different ages play and learn together. This approach supports social development and the natural learning process of young children. Our programme is designed to support each child’s development at their own pace, with space for rest, play and discovery. We serve only organic food, freshly and carefully prepared. This not only supports the children’s health but also promotes awareness of nutrition and sustainability. The crèche is open from 8:45 to 15:45 and offers daytime care for parents seeking a warm, safe place for their child. Stichting ‘La Creche’ is officially registered in the National Childcare Register and meets all legal requirements. We offer early childhood education (VVE) and work closely with parents to support their child’s development. Parents may be eligible for the government’s childcare allowance.
