Kuukeluusje

Peuterspeelzaal ’t Kuukeluusje is a certified pre-school facility located within primary school De Parel at Zuiderzeestraatweg 145 in Hierden. We are part of Stichting Kinderspeelzalen Harderwijk (SKH) and provide care for up to 24 toddlers aged 2 to 4. Our group is organised horizontally, giving children a calm, structured environment in which to play and grow with peers of the same age. At ’t Kuukeluusje we focus on the all-round development of every child. We use an official Early Childhood Education programme that playfully stimulates language, numeracy, social-emotional growth and motor skills. The pedagogical staff arrange the room in an inviting, theme-based way so that toddlers can explore, experiment and learn new things. We carefully monitor each child’s development with a standardised observation tool and discuss the findings with parents at least twice a year. This allows us to tailor our programme exactly to your child’s needs and ensures a smooth transition to primary school. Our setting follows the regular school holidays and is closed during those periods. Parents can opt for half-day or full-day care. We believe it is important for children to feel safe and at home, which is why we work in a close-knit team that receives regular training and reflects on its own practice.
