Kunst & Kidz

BSO Kunst & Kidz is located on the same premises as primary school De Fuut at Avegaar 85 in Monnickendam. We provide after-school care for up to 46 children aged 4 to 13. Our space is divided into various arts-and-crafts corners and play areas, so every child can find their own spot. Older children have a dedicated chill zone where they can game, read or simply unwind after a busy school day. Outside, we have our own playground where children can run, climb and play to their heart’s content. Art and creativity are at the heart of our approach. We use themes that connect with the children’s world and offer daily creative activities. Our pedagogical staff guide the children, leaving plenty of room for personal input and initiative. We believe it is important that children can express themselves freely and discover their talents. BSO Kunst & Kidz works closely with De Fuut primary school. After school, the children are collected from their classroom and walk straight to our location. We are also open during teacher-training days and school holidays, offering a varied programme of creative workshops, games and outdoor activities. In this way, there is always a familiar place for the children to go.
