KSH KDV Gein

Welcome to KSH KDV Gein, our daycare centre located at Jacob Krüsestraat 73 in Amsterdam-Zuidoost. We are part of KSH Kinderopvang, a nationwide organisation with over 35 locations and 25 years of experience in childcare for children aged 0 to 13. At KSH KDV Gein we focus on flexible, safe and development-oriented care for children from 0 to 4 years old. We work with horizontal groups, bringing children together in age-based groups. Our location has 76 childcare places and has been officially registered in the National Childcare Register under number 144452960 since 7 July 2015. KSH KDV Gein’s pedagogical staff follow our fixed pedagogical policy, which explicitly includes language development and outdoor learning. We encourage children to develop through play and provide pre-school education (VE). Our spacious garden and playgrounds around the building invite outdoor play and nature-based learning. For the youngest ones we have separate sleeping rooms and provide bottle feeding tailored to each child. We serve a warm meal, bread meals and healthy snacks daily. In case of food allergies or special dietary needs, we adjust the menu to the individual child. We also offer half-day care, so parents can choose what best fits their schedule. KSH KDV Gein aims to offer parents maximum service so that work and care can be combined easily. Our standard opening hours are from 07:00 to 19:00, all year round except for official public holidays. We believe it is important that every child feels safe and at home, and that parents can bring their child to us with peace of mind.
