KSH Kidsclub De Waalse

Located inside De Waalse primary school in the lively Crooswijk-Rubroek district, KSH Kidsclub De Waalse offers after-school care for up to 100 children aged 4 to 13. Just a short walk from Rotterdam’s famous Markthal and city centre, the club is open from 07:00 to 19:00. Close cooperation with the host school guarantees a seamless transition at the end of the school day. Our qualified staff welcome children into bright, age-divided rooms: one zone for 4-7 year-olds and another for 8-13 year-olds. Indoors you will find creative corners for arts & crafts, a cosy reading nook with up-to-date children’s books, a music area with instruments, and a movement zone for dance and sports sessions. Outdoors, a secure green playground offers climbing frames, a small football pitch and quiet seating. Weekly we explore nearby parks and sports fields for nature walks and games, and we organise cultural excursions to places such as the Maritime Museum and the Natural History Museum. After a healthy lunch of freshly made sandwiches, seasonal fruit and drinks, children choose between supervised homework time, free play or structured activities. These include music workshops, themed craft projects (e.g. sustainability), and sports clinics run with local clubs. Parents receive updates and photos through our parent portal. KSH Kidsclub De Waalse provides a safe, stimulating environment where every child can grow at their own pace.
