KSH Kidsclub De Wereld op Zuid

KSH Kidsclub De Wereld op Zuid is an after-school care facility (BSO) located on the first floor of the unique multi-purpose building De Wereld op Zuid at Schere 39 in Rotterdam-Zuid. Together with primary schools De Christophoor and De Toermalijn, Pameijer and Peuter & Co, we create one safe and inspiring world for children aged 4 to 12. Our BSO accommodates up to 120 children, divided into six horizontal base groups. The Pluto’s and Boris Boefjes form our lower-year groups for children aged 4 to 6. Willie Wortel en de lampjes and De Mickey’s and Minnies are the middle-year groups for 6- to 8-year-olds. The Goofy’s and De Hiawatha’s are the upper-year groups for children aged 7 and older. Each group has its own space where children can eat, drink and carry out activities. In addition to the base groups, we have a theatre room and a children’s cooking café. We are allowed to use two gym halls on the ground floor for sports activities. Outside there are playgrounds with a football field, sandbox and climbing bars. Within walking distance are playground De Bodelo and Zuiderpark, which we visit regularly. During school weeks we provide after-school care from 07:00 to 19:00. In the holidays we work with themes. Every day there are various activities related to the theme. We organise trips to museums, playgrounds, the forest or the theatre and invite sports instructors for workshops on site.
